100 MPH on the World’s Fastest Zipline

World's Fastest Zipline

The ride is located in South Africa and it is apparently the world’s fastest, longest and tallest zipline. The guys are basically descending a small mountain, so I can believe it. They even put the rudder fin between your legs to keep you straight.

Not only is the Pronutro zip 2000 the world’s longest zip line, it’s also the highest at 280 meters as well as the fastest, with riders reaching speeds over 140 kilometer per hour. The length of the Pronutro zip 2000 is an exhilarating 1.2 miles or 2 kilometers of pure zipping pleasure. If you’re itching to tackle the world’s longest zip line just make your way to Sun City, South Africa and make sure to bring along R295 or $41.09 U.S. dollars.

Body Surfing Down a Road in the Swiss Alps

Body surfing is fun. Road rash isn’t.

Rollerman 2

This video features a man who is body surfing… inches from the road… down a very steep mountain… in the Swiss Alps… and he is passing other motorists! I thought street luge was nuts, but that is just insane. One wrong move and you are either flying off a cliff, peeling what’s left of your skin off the pavement, or being disembodied by a passing car. I am truly amazed at how fluid and controlled his decent is. He appears to be able to turn on a dime, despite the awkward suit and the hair raising speed.
