WordPress 2.5 is here! Actually, the ubiquitous blogging software has been out for about a couple of weeks now, I’m just a little late on the upgrade.
It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen a new release from the Automattic guys (as well as the open source community). After a bit of a delay, the shrink wrap is finally off, and we can finally see what all this waiting around had been for.

SEOmoz has a huge list of the best web 2.0 sites. This is the place to look for the cream of the crop from around the internet. Check it out at SEOmoz’s Web 2.0 Awards.
Check out the new rotating header, live archives page and contact page. There are also a few more little additions that you’ll have to find yourself.
So I’ve updated WordPress to version 2.0.1 and it only felt appropriate to give the aging theme a makeover as well. I’m now using the popular K2 Beta theme from Michael Heilemann and Chris Davis. I’ve already found that it really tends to clutter things up, but the whole site design will eventually be overhauled anyway (hopefuly soon) so that isn’t a big deal at the moment. Also, I’m back in school which means that posts are likely to be fairly sparse for a while. If anyone actually reads this, let me know what you think. Cheers.

Here’s another “create a webpage with CSS” tutorial. Looks like this one goes all the way through the process. It could be a good read. See:
